One of my favorite parts of being a therapist was running therapeutic groups. I loved sitting around in a circle filled with strong women and helping them heal and problem solve together.
I’m no longer in a place where I get to meet with groups of women every week to discuss life, so I’ve built virtual groups where we can all sit, kick off our shoes, and talk all about the Dirt and Boogers of Motherhood. Instead of 10-15 group members, our groups are thousands of people strong.
Each group is non-judgemental, supportive, and welcoming. I’m proud of the spaces we’ve built together and I hope you’ll join along.
Here are the two groups available to you:
The Stop Yelling Challenge
The Stop Yelling Group is a place for all parents who want to stop yelling at their children and who want to have happier and calmer homes with their kids.
I built the group because, in late 2013, I came to realize that I was going to struggle with yelling at my children. You see, even though I have degrees and experience with working with families, I was repeating the patterns that I had grown up with…yelling at my kids. I challenged myself to stop for good, and in turn, challenged my readers to do the same.
I set up a Facebook Group where we can all come and take the challenge to stop yelling. I’m proud to say that we have thousands of parents in The Stop Yelling Challenge who are supporting and encouraging one another every day. It truly is a non-judgmental, safe, and fun place for all parents.
If you want to have a happier home with kids, the Stop Yelling Group can support you on your journey.

The Daily Gratitude Challenge
Join the Daily Gratitude Challenge, and join the most positive place on Facebook.
Each day, members of the group come to share their joy. We share one thing (or several things) that we’re grateful for. Sometimes is big things, like the birth of a new baby, and other times is a negative thing turned positive, like being grateful that you’re the sick one instead of your kids.
Once your a member, your newsfeed will transform. As you scroll through your feed, you’ll be reminded by the other group member’s posts to find joy and gratitude in your own life. I promise, this group will change your life, one post at a time.
The Daily Gratitude Challenge helps every member feel more gracious, happier, and more fulfilled.
