It’s 8:00 in the evening, and I just tucked my boys into bed.
I’m sitting on the couch, hot tea in hand, thinking about my day, my life, my story.
I reflect back on the beautiful day I had with my boys. I’m so at peace with my life right now. It just feels good…and I love that.
But when I think a little bit further back, I remember the days that were filled with yelling and crying. Days when I wasn’t sure if I was cut out for this motherhood thing. Days when I was just so tired I wasn’t sure I could make it until bedtime.
It was a moment of reflection that reminded me that motherhood really does take a woman from the highest of highs to the lowest of lows.
There are Seasons in Every Mother’s Life
Seasons of joy. Seasons of change. Seasons of loneliness. Seasons of self-doubt. Seasons of despair.
We all have them, and some are harder to get through than others.
I’ve pulled together some of my favorite bloggers to share their seasons with you. It’s important to hear other people’s stories…it helps us feel normal.
No matter what season you are in, I hope that these posts will help you feel like you’re not so alone.
