It all started with a conversation I had with my older son. I had just yelled at him about something I can’t even remember now, and he told me that I scared him.
I knew right there, in that moment, that I needed to change.
So, I challenged myself to cut out the yelling.
As I was making this decision I thought that there were probably lots of parents out there that would also love to stop the yelling. So I opened up the challenge to whoever wanted to join me.
I’ve set up a Facebook Group where thousands of parents have come for help. This group provides support, tips, and encouragement so that we can all Stop The YELLING!
The challenge is not about stopping the yelling all together, but it might end up that way for you. It is about doing better and not allowing yelling to be our first parenting tool. It’s about building a happier home. It’s NOT about adding more guilt to your life.
Won’t you come and take the challenge too?
